Originally founded in 2015 as a business management firm serving the music, lifestyle and branding industries, BASE now serves as the exclusive manager for a single family office.
In addition to managed investments, its portfolio includes multi-family, mixed-use rental buildings and early stage start-up ventures.
Based in Miami, Florida with a presence in Los Angeles and New York, BASE actively seeks interesting investment opportunities across all asset classes. We do not accept outside capital, but we do look to build relationships with proven investment managers, venture capital firms, start-ups and real estate developers.

Having extensive experience extending across ultra-high-net-worth wealth, real estate and business management, Gregory Frankel is responsible for BASE’s overall investment strategies. He also serves in an operational role for multiple portfolio companies.
Prior to founding BASE, Gregory was a managing partner in MADE, a full service artist management company with ownership in record labels and music publishing companies. He also served as managing partner of The Frankel Firm, a boutique entertainment law practice.
Gregory holds a J.D. from Columbia Law School and a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley. He also serves as chair of the board of trustees for Miami Waterkeeper.
